The London fireworks display or The Mayors Fireworks display is celebrated along Victoria embankment or anywhere with a clear line of sight to The London Eye.
Titanium Fireworks put on the nation’s largest and most prestigious firework event, it is watched live on BBC1 by over 13 million people.
Every year thousands of people flock to the area around the London eye to watch, and of course photographers in their hundreds are competing for the best vantage points to shoot from.
With the exclusive vantage point of the dome of the Methodist Central Hall in Westminster, I used the Hasselblad H6D-100c camera system to capture the colourful atmosphere of the capital’s celebrations in the highest of quality. I exposed for the different elements of the scene, before and during the display then combining them in post-production for a set of amazing images to capture the spirit occasion.
These images have been featured in many publications all over the world including The National Geographic.
